Jenna MacMillan

Jenna MacMillan is an award-winning filmmaker, graduate of Ryerson University’s Film Production program, and recipient of the DGC Ontario & WIFT Toronto Directing mentorship award. Her short documentaries have been integrated into the PEI health care & education systems to promote abortion access & mental health awareness. Her producing credits include A BLESSING FROM THE SEA (HBO) and WHARF RATS, the first Canadian series to receive funding from Telefilm, Bell Fund, and the IPF for a single series. She was also a producer on both seasons of the award-winning digital-comedy series JUST PASSING THROUGH. Jenna recently worked as Director of Production and Development for Northwood Entertainment (ANNE WITH AN E, THE GRIZZLIES), and is currently in post production on the PEI feature thriller A SMALL FORTUNE with producing partner Jason Arsenault, with whom she is also developing a number of new projects through Telefilm, CMF, and Bell development funds.

Jeremy
Larter

A graduate of Sheridan’s post-graduate Advanced Television and Film program, Jeremy Larter is a creator, writer, director, producer, and editor who has created award-winning comedy projects from his home province of Prince Edward Island. His credits include the Vimeo Awards shortlisted web series PONDERINGS, two seasons of the IPF funded, Canadian Comedy award-winning series JUST PASSING THROUGH, and the Canadian Comedy award winning feature film POGEY BEACH. John Doyle, TV critic for the The Globe and Mail, ranked JUST PASSING THROUGH #6 on hit Top 10 Canadian TV list of 2013 and named co-creators Jeremy Larter, Geoff Read & Jason Larter runner ups for ‘TV Artist of the Year’ behind Vince Gilligan of BREAKING BAD. POGEY BEACH is being distributed by the Toronto-based distributor Vortex Media, and is available on iTunes, Eastlink, Shaw, Rogers and Super Channel. Jeremy is currently developing a number of new projects with Telefilm Canada and Bell development funds.

JASON
ARSENAULT

Jason Arsenault is an award-winning filmmaker and the first PEI alumni of the National Screen Institute. He produced and co-wrote the short A BLESSING FROM THE SEA (HBO), the first film from the Atlantic provinces to receive the Harold Greenberg Shorts To Features Award. He recently produced, directed, and co-wrote WHARF RATS, a digital-comedy series shot in PEI starring Jonothan Torrens, Sue Kent, and Annie Briggs. The series was funded by Telefilm, Bell Fund, and the IPF. He’s currently producing the PEI feature thriller A SMALL FORTUNE, set for release in 2021. The film stars Andrea Bang (KIM’S CONVENIENCE), Joel Thomas Hynes (TRICKSTER), and Liane Balaban (NEW WATERFORD GIRL) and was funded by Telefilm, Innovation PEI, The Newfoundland Film Development Corporation, and Superchannel. Jason is currently developing a number of new projects with Telefilm, CMF, and Bell development funds.
